    Miles Accrual:

Multiple opportunities to earn FR miles:

Types of FR miles one can accrue:

    Base Miles:

    Cabin Bonus Miles:

    Partner Bonus Miles :

    Status Miles:

Members earn FR Miles when flying on Air India, Air India code share flights, Air India airline partner's flights and also

when availing the services of Global Programme Partners which include some of the leading names in airlines, retail,

    lifestyle, car rental etc.

FR Miles earned are classified as Base Miles, Cabin Bonus Miles, Status Miles ,Tier Bonus Miles, and Partner Bonus

    Miles.

The Base Miles earned for a sector are a hybrid of the distance and Booking Class (RBD) of the sector flown. The miles

earned in "M" class RBD on any sector are the par value or 100% of the base miles eligible for that sector.

Miles earned in other RBD's are represented as a percentage of the miles eligible for "M" class.

Air India offers three types of Cabins (the corresponding RBD or booking classes for each cabin are also illustrated):

Economy Class (Y,B,M,H,K,Q,V,W,G,L,U,T,S,E), Business Class (C,D,J,Z) and First Class (F,A). These equal the Base Miles

for a sector multiplied by the Class of Booking factor. For eg : 200% for C class, 175% for D class, 150 % for J class.

These are earned on activities on Flying Returns non-airline partners. These miles do not count towards determining

    eligibility of Tier.

This is the nomenclature used to describe the miles accrued (Base miles plus Cabin Bonus miles) in the preceding

365 days (or if accrued earlier), in order to determine the membership tier for the following 12 months. Status miles

are not extra miles accrued and therefore are not redeemable. From the day a member collects 25000 Status miles,

the member is eligible for Silver Edge Club privileges for the next 12 months. Similarly, collecting 50000 Status miles

earns Golden Edge Club privileges and collecting 75000 status miles earns The Maharajah Club privileges from the

day of reaching the requisite Status mile for the following 12 months.

    5

    Tier Bonus Miles:

    Automatic Recording of FR miles:

These are extra miles earned over and above base miles by virtue of membership of Tier like S ilver Edge Club / Golden

Edge Club / The Maharajah Club. These miles do not count towards status miles or determining eligibility of Tier.

Members (or their representatives & Travel Agents) must quote their Flying Returns nine digit membership number

when making bookings on flights operated by Air India, Air India code share flights or our Star Alliance partners and

also present the physical membership card or show the virtual membership card at check-in to ensure that theactivities are recorded automatically. Members must ensure the name in the booking is exactly as it appears on both,

the Passport and the Flying Returns membership profile. If a member residing in India does not have a passport, then
