Stronger  than  Apeldoorn,  this  award-­‐winner,  circa  1951,  has  huge  signal-­‐red  flowers  with  yellow-­‐edged,  black  bases.  Bulb  size:  12  cm/up.  Mid-­‐April  to  May.  24".  HZ:  3-­‐7.  

Circa  1810,  it  has  bell-­‐shaped,  reddish-­‐violet  flowers  with  darker  midribs  and  purplish  stalks.  Top  size.  June/July.  16".  HZ:  5-­‐8.
