This  stunning  beauty  is  luminous,  blue  moon-­‐white  with  overlapping,  satin-­‐smooth  petals  and  a  barely  flared,  cylindrical  cup  with  a  hazy  green  eye  and  slightly  scalloped  edges.  

Occasionally  producing  multiple  stems  per  bulb,  this  Karel  van  der  Veek  naturalizer  has  creamy-­‐white  petals  and  an  golden-­‐orange,disk-­‐shaped  cup  with  a  darker,  melon-­‐orange,  ruffled  rim.  A  bit  fragrant,  Sound  is  outward

Tulip  Parade  

Stronger  than  Apeldoorn,  this  award-­‐winner,  circa  1951,  has  huge  signal-­‐red  flowers  with  yellow-­‐edged,  black  bases.  Bulb  size:  12  cm/up.  Mid-­‐April  to  May.  24".  HZ:  3-­‐7.  

Circa  1810,  it  has  bell-­‐shaped,  reddish-­‐violet  flowers  with  darker  midribs  and  purplish  stalks.  Top  size.  June/July.  16".  HZ:  5-­‐8.  

White,  purple,  blue  and  yellow.  Bulb  size:  9  cm/up.  April.  5".  HZ:  4-­‐8.
