Purpose of FeynHiggs
Calculation of masses, mixings etc. in the MSSM at highestlevel of accuracy.
I works with real and complex parametersI written in FortranI standard tool for masses, couplings and some decays in the

Core of FeynHiggs: Higgs mass calculationI MSSM includes two Higgs doublets
Φ1 =(
φ+1
v1 + 1√2(φ1 + iχ1)
), Φ2 =
(φ+
2v2 + 1√
2(φ2 + iχ2)
)→ five physical Higgs states: h, H, A, H±
I Higgs potential:VH = m2

∗1iH
∗2j)

EFT calculationAlternative approachIf all SUSY particles are heavy, integrate them out!→M2
h = 2λ(Mt)v2
State of the art EFT calculation:I Full LL+NLL resummationI O(αs, αt) NNLL resummationI separate chargino/neutralino threshold
EFT calculation resums large logarithms→ precise prediction for high scales ,→ misses however terms suppressed by SUSY scale ∝ v/MS /

I Have to avoid double-counting of 1L and 2L logarithmsI Have to avoid double-counting of non-log termsI EFT uses DR, fixed-order calcalculation can be OS→ parameter conversion needed
Benefits:→ precise prediction for all scales ,,

Summary of available self-energy corrections
Need to find complex poles (M2 = M2 − iMΓ) of inversepropagator matrix ∆−1 :
p2 −m2h + Σhh ΣhH ΣhA
ΣHh p2 −m2H + ΣHH ΣHA
ΣAh ΣAH p2 −m2A + ΣAA
and ΣH±H± , (Σ = Σ(p2))
: full one-loop corrections (all phases, p2 dependence, NMFV): O(αsαt) corrections (all phases, p2 dependence),O(α2
t ) corrections (all phases, p2 = 0): O(αtαb, α2
b) corrections (phases interpolated, p2 = 0): resummed logarithms using EFT

Numerical determination of the poles?For MA MZ ,
M2h = m2
h − Σ̂(1)hh (m2
h)− Σ̂(2)hh (m2
h) + Σ̂(1)′hh (m2
h)Σ̂(1)hh (m2
h) + ...
I Non-SM contributions to Σ̂(1)′hh (m2
h)Σ̂(1)hh (m2
h) are cancelledby subloop-renormalization in Σ̂(2)
hh (m2h) → vev-CT
I holds generally at 2L (probably also at higher orders)I but FH includes Σ̂(2)
hh only for vanishing electroweakcouplings → incomplete cancellation

Numerical determination of poles spoils calculation!
→ Solution easy for MA MZ , but what to do for MA ∼MZ?13 / 26

hH(m2h) +Σ̂(2)
hH(0) −[Σ̂(1)′

For determination of MH expand around M2H = m2
H − Σ̂(1)HH
