This is the fourth an-niversary of Rockness this year, and many people are hoping for even bigger, brighter aspects, to keep us in the festival spirit. Already the line up states that Kasabian

will be heading-lin-ing the Friday, The Chemical Brothers will be heading lin-ing on the Saturday and Pablo Nutini on the Sunday. There are also rumours, that Daft Punk may also be playing which is get-ting electro lovers, very excited!

questionable random things that you waste your money on when possible your full judgement isn’t about you! Artists merchan-dise, general pro fes-tival clothing, jewel-lery and of course camping essentials incase you lost them on your way there.

Every year Rockness takes it upon its self to strive for hygiene more than any other UK festival, and has the cleanest toilets around, which is a big problem sometimes at festivals, because people expect clean toilets and a clean festival site and can often be let down. So fear no more girlie girls and metro sexual males, because this year, Rockness, will provide sanitation to a brand new level.

Not only are the as-pect of cleanliness are improving this year, so are the sleep-ing arrangements. We had a sneaky peak into what’s to of

fer for this year and at the height of luxu-ry the boutique camp-ing has become avail-able. This considers you a VIP so that you can camp in style, in a 5 star camper van allowing up to 8 peo-ple. More information regarding the bou-tique camper will be-come available on the website soon.

This year the one warning that has been forced into the minds of the festival regu-lars, to watch out for false wristband and tickets. Every year there is a notice-able difference in the amount of fraudu-lent tickets. Don’t buy tickets outside from drunken dodg-ers who just want your money, get your ticket in advance. If you are caught with a false ticket you won’t be making it in to the festival at all and you’ll have to spend it outside camping on the Loch Ness watch-ing as everyone has a good time.

Like most festivals, or possibly all festivals,

drugs can over run the fun and every year there are al-ways problems en-countered that are a result of drugs. The best advice without preaching, is to know what you are doing, and never get into such a state that you would take some-thing you are going to regret. Some peo-ple believe festivals are a no man’s land, with limited rules and regulations. However, this is not the case. If you are stupid you can get hurt, and if you take drugs with you, you won’t be making it in at all. A festival isn’t fun if you are dead. So stay clear of drugs and dehydration this year at Rock Ness. Lets all remain happy camp-ers and take care of yourselfs!
