 Each year, the Artists Creating Together Festival Day follows a theme around which the decorations, activities, and promotional materials revolve. Festival Day 2015 Theme: “Art in the Garden: We Dig Art!” We invite your students to creatively interpret this year’s theme an d to submit a piece of artwork to be considered for the T-shirt Logo Contest or the Program Cover Contest. The Festival Day committee will jury the results and select TWO winning pieces!  All artwork submissions must be r eceived by 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015.  T-SHIRT LOGO CONTEST This year, each student will receive a t-shirt featuring a logo that goes along with the Festival Day 2015 theme.  1 winning piece of artwork will be showcased on Festival Day t-shirts and promotional materials. This winning artist (along with their teacher & classmates) will be a special guest at Festival Day 2015, including an appearance on stage at Opening Ceremony! The winning artist will also receive a framed copy of the artwork. Student Artwork Guidelines:  All work must be t wo-dimension al (drawing, painting, or mixed media).  Artwork can be smaller than, but s hould not exce ed 8.5" x 11". ONLY ONE COLOR may be used  paint, ink, crayon, marker, oil pastel or cut paper is recommend ed. Pencil wi ll not r eproduce. Please do not have your student write the tagline “Art in the Garden” on their artwork if possible.  We will print the text in separatel y on the t-shirt. Include student's name, age, and school, along with teacher's name on back of work.  Artwork entr ies not selected fo r logo will not be returned, and may be displayed at Festival Day, or become part of future visual art exhibits.   • Artwork Submissions

    All artwork must be received by 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015.

    When submitting student artwork, please indicate WHICH CONTEST you are entering (T-shirt Logo

    or Program Cover). Only artwork that adheres to the guidelines listed for each will be considered.

    PROGRAM COVER CONTEST

    This year, all teachers, volunteers, and guests of Festival Day will receive a printed program for the event.

    1 winning piece of artwork will be showcased on the

    Festival Day program cover.

    The winning artist will receive his/her own copy of the Festival Day program and a framed

    copy of the artwork.
