9:00am - 1:00pm Pre-festival watercolor workshop by Poppy Balser (sold out).

4:00pm Registration desk opens.

4:00pm - 7:00pm Stamping of canvases, boards and paper. Stamping will also be available on site for each paint session, during the first hour of painting only.

Collection of any pre-ordered art supplies and frames, welcome bags and name badges.

Have any questions? Go to the “ASK ME” table.

Purchase of any additional dinner, lunch or tea tickets with cash. Tickets for dinners/lunch/tea will not be sold after tonight.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13Private Home: Orange Grove Middle Road, Smith’s Parish (opposite Whitney Institute)

A family home for many generations, current owners, Bill and Dawn Zuill are opening ‘Orange Grove’ to the Plein Air Festival. ‘Orange Grove’ features Bermuda classic architecture and rolling grounds, cottages and farming land. Bill is the current president of the Bermuda National Trust.

9:30am Coco Reef pick-up for pre-arranged transport.

You can ‘Drive and Drop’ supplies with personal transport and then park at Whitney Institute. Shuttle available.

10:00am - 11:00am Stamping of canvases, boards and paper.

10:00am - 3:00pm Paint out all day.

12:30pm Box lunch provided for those who pre-paid.

3:15pm Pick-up for pre-arranged transport back to Coco Reef.

Evening option:

Enjoy cocktails and a buffet dinner at Beau Rivage Restaurant, Harbour Road, Warwick (ticketed/pre-paid event). The Hamilton Harbour views will light up this evening event, as we kick off our week of painting.

Two drink tickets provided for cocktails. Two drink tickets provided for dinner. Cash bar after tickets are used.

6:15pm - 7:30pm Enjoy cocktails.

7:30pm - 9:30pm Buffet dinner service.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14Urban Painting City of Hamilton

9:00am Coco Reef pick-up for pre-arranged transport.

9:30am - 10:30am Stamping at drop-off point, Bermuda Library, Queen Elizabeth Park (formerly Par-la-Ville Park).

9:30am - 4:00pm Paint out all day. Enjoy painting in the City of Hamilton, at your choice of location. Please wear a pink Festival shirt if you have one.

Lunch on your own.

The Bermuda National Gallery and the Bermuda Society of Arts (BSoA) will be open for your enjoyment in the City Hall.

4:30pm - 6:00pm (optional): Enjoy a featured show of Chuck Olson’s work together with featured local artists at Gallery One Seventeen, 117 Front Street. Cocktails and light refreshments will be served.

5:00pm - 7:00pm DNA Creative Shoppe will be open for any art supply needs. DNA is just down the street from Gallery One Seventeen.

6:00pm Night painting session, location of your choice on Front Street, Hamilton.

9:00pm Pick-up for pre-arranged transport back to Coco Reef from the Flagpole on Front Street. (opposite the Butterfield Bank).

10:00am - 11:00am Stamping of canvases, boards and paper at the Clock Tower, Dockyard.

10:00am - 3:00pm Paint out all day anywhere in the Dockyard area, your choice of the Clock Tower, marina, Commissioner’s House and ramparts. Please wear a pink Festival shirt if you have one.

Lunch on your own at one of the many venues in Dockyard.

4:00pm - 5:00pm Tea served at Dockyard Arts Centre (ticketed/pre-paid event).

5:15pm Pick-up from Dockyard Arts Centre for prearranged transport back to Coco Reef. Ferry or buses back to Hamilton for those who wish to return to Hamilton.

Free evening to enjoy and/or finish work.

FREE ADMISSION to the Commissioner’s House and Museum if you are wearing your Festival name tag.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16Quick Art Competition Town of St. George’s, St. George’s Parish

8:30am Coco Reef pick-up for pre-arranged transport.

9:30am - 10:30am Stamping at the drop-off point, the Town Hall.

Enjoy painting around St. George’s, at your choice of location. Please wear a pink Festival shirt if you have one.

12:00pm - 1:00pm Deadline for Quick Art competition, hand-in at the Town Hall. Only one (1) piece can be submitted. All work must be framed and ready to hang. Completed Quick Art entry and label forms MUST be on the back of the painting.

Lunch on your own, with time to enjoy the shops, and charm of St. George’s.

Points of interest: St. George’s is home to several National Trust properties. We are sure you will love Stewart Hall and Samaritan’s Cottages, which are both a little bit off the beaten track. The Old Rectory is also a classic cottage on Broad Alley, as is Fanny Fox’s cottage on Duke of Clarence Street.

2:30pm Pick-up for pre-arranged transport back to Coco Reef from the Town Square.

Free evening to enjoy on your own.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17 – FREE DAYDinner at Woodhaven 134 Harbour Road, Paget Parish (ticketed/pre-paid event)

Enjoy a free day to finish and frame your work for the Festival Exhibition, or find new locations on your own.

Evening option: Enjoy dinner at ‘Woodhaven’, the home of Vivienne Gardner, one of our own Bermuda Plein Air artists. The perfect way to touch base and enjoy the evening with new and old friends.

5:15pm Coco Reef pick-up for pre-arranged transport.

5:30pm - 9:30pm Cocktails and dinner gathering. After a fun-filled week, enjoy a relaxed buffet dinner with all your new friends and fellow artists. This is the last chance for us all to be together.

10:00pm Pick-up for pre-arranged transport back to Coco Reef.

Parking for locals at garden level of the house and Harbour Road, with shuttle service.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18Bermuda Plein Air Art Festival Finale Bermuda Society of Arts (BSoA), City Hall

Artists can submit none (0) up to five (5) entries in the General Exhibition. All entries must have two (2) entry forms attached on the back, clearly indicating in which medium they are to be entered. Only work for sale will be accepted.

8:00am - 9:30am Artists at Coco Reef please hand in all work for hanging. All work will be collected at 9:30am from the hotel and taken to the BSoA.

9:00am - 10:00am All other artists to take their entries to the BSoA no later than 10:00am for hanging.

12:00pm - 3:30pm Judging (gallery closed).

3:30pm - 4:00pm Viewing for sponsors and participating artist.

4:00pm - 7:30pm Exhibition open to the public.

5:30pm Welcome address by the Mayor of Hamilton and prize-giving.

7:30pm - 8.30 pm Collection of all artwork not sold. All artists MUST collect and SIGN OUT their own unsold work and take it away.

8:30pm - 9:00pm Pick-up for pre-arranged transport back to Coco Reef or enjoy dinner on your own in the City of Hamilton (making your own way home post-dinner).
