The beginning of of a new year always involves some kind of reckoning after the year we leave behind and planning as well for the next one. This retrospec-tion is not for a year, but rather a period that started in October 2004, when I got acquainted with GéSz Kft.

What has changed since that? – you can wonder. There are one or two small jars in our family’s fridge, and we are positive that we can „do” for our family’s health day by day. For our adolescent children, who do not always accept our guidance, and for our elderly parents, who happen to live far away.

The other thing found in this small jar is financial security. If an unforeseen incident happens (the gas water heater goes wrong, the car crashes), it does not equal with bank loans or clearing the family bud-get. They can be financed from the income I earn by recommending the possibility of health and success found in the jar.

It is very simple, isn’t it? Indeed, this is our job. The more we perform this very simple activity, the more we understand that it is worth pursuing it professionally. Since when a nice friend of ours accepts our offer, we become responsible for him or her. It depends on us whether s/he receives all the information required for providing basis for a successful business. We are res-ponsible for the acquaintance of ours, who provides the requirements professionally in the background.

I was already familiar with Multi-Level Marketing, I had already built network with comparative success before, and my direct selling experience I gained in insurance industry was a good basis. Either the prod-uct, or the marketing was not OK, though. When on a Sunday afternoon in October 2004 I participated in a presentation at Szilvi Lőrincz’s home, I immediately knew that this is the opportunity I had been waiting for. It is a Hungarian product, and what a marketing! The owners of the company were there in person: Laci Gaál, the resolute businessman, Hanni, whose starry eyes, emission and lovely personality are so catchy (well, for me even more, as we are both musicians). I met there a very serious young man, Dr. Gyula Csőre, who introduced me to the world of flavonoids, and has dazzled the participants of the events with his spirited lectures.

I am proud of belonging to the group of those dist-ributors, who have worked with the same enthusiasm for providing health and success for more and more families since the start of the Consumer Club ever since.

Qualifications didn’t come immediately, I needed half a year work to reach Millionaire level. I had al-ready worked together with Péter Miklós Balogh, with whom we travelled thousands of kilometres for build-ing this business, and we did not only make friends but a friendly relationship evolved between our families as well.

We often come together to spend a couple of hours together – we continuously have reason to celebrate. In February 2006, at the time of my qualification for Elite level my good old friend, Zsolt Németh hadalready been my colleague. The regular work we were doing for months produced good results: Zsolti became Elite and I became Diamond Elite in January 2007 by starting a dynamically expanding line – Mag-dolna Dobiné Bagi and her team.

Does the recipe work based on this? One can step one level higher up by starting only one single down-line. Go for it! I have another good friend, with whom I had already built network, but he had been my spon-sor then: László Budai alias Alex! He was a tough nut to crack, he was Flavon max Club Member since 2005. He did not work for two years, but after making the deci-sion (summer of 2007) we could work very well with him indeed, and he reached Elite level in one month! And me….? No, I did not qualify for presidency level, it is not so simple!

But after Florida I did participate in the second Dia-mond Elite holiday in Mexico, and this is really another achievement: to maintain the level, keep it, and collect the necessary quick start points.

I will still need a ’little bit’ of work for reaching the next level.

Now we can talk about plans, I mean plans regar-ding the next year: to stabilize the continuous growth of the network, help our colleagues reach the next leadership level – the still vacant first Hungarian presi-dency „chair.” This chair will be decorated by precious stones: Elites and Diamond Elites, with whom it is a joy to work with, and in whose success I can take part. Pé-ter, Tamás, Zsolti and István, Krisztián, Dusi and Zsolt, Alex and Gyuri, thank you for your work. I also wish to say a special thank you for my fantastic upline, Dr. Gyula Csőre, who is „quasi” my second sponsor, and Kriszta Jung, my third sponsor, on whose advice and rewarding guidance I can always rely.

The absolute category acknowledgement is welldeserved by the Gaal family, because they made it possible not only to enjoy the rewarded luxurious holi-day, but also to choose the wellness hotel we like. The dream holiday is not only Florida or Mexico, it can also be a cruiser trip with the kids. We continuously set off the house (we even have a new fence! – like the neigh-bour), we can sit in a car we were only daydreaming of a couple of years ago… Because my case is an example: a family where everyone works together!

Its name is originated from the Latin ’bra-chium’ and the Italian ’brocco’ which mean ’branch’ or ’arm’. Broccoli comes from today’s area of Italy. In the Roman Empire Wild Mustard (Brassica Oleracea) was general, and it developed into today’s broccoli.

Then it was widely spread in the Middle-East, where it was popular due to its consumable flower heads. Later it reappeared in the Appenini Peninsula, how-ever, its production was spread slightly. The colonists took it to today’s territory of USA. The first plant was grown by two Italian siblings in San José (in California) in 1923. The Italian colonists of the New World played a crucial role in the process of making broccoli popular. Many parts of the world are occupied with its produc-tion. The most important countries which produce broccoli (in the order of the quantity produced): Chi-na, India, the USA, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Pakis-tan, the United Kingdom.

Per capita quantity of the sold and consumed broc-

coli has constantly grown in the recent years in the USA, which progression is also true for the consump-tion in the European countries.

With the consumption of 300gr broccoli we are able to protect the needs of our organisms as the diagram shows below. The given values show the active sub-stance le-vel of broccoli in proportion to the recom-mended daily allowance (RDA) for adults.

When we buy broccoli we have to make sure that its flower heads are thick and firm. It shows the freshness of the broccoli. Its colour has to be healthy. The best quality types are dark green, violet-green and greyish-green. We should not buy yellow broccoli, because it means that its flower heads have already started to open, so the broccoli is over-matured. The stem and stalk of the flower have to be fresh and crispy. The freshness of the broccoli is not adequate if dark spots appear on it. It is a very vulnerable vegetable, so after purchase it is best to be stored in fridge. For a longer storage it is worth deep-freezing it after blanching.

Recipe: Broccoli cream soup

800 gr broccoli 1 soup cube 250 ml cream 2-3 garlic cloves To taste: nutmeg, pepper, lemon juice Crouton

Preparation: Clean the broccoli, cut it into smaller piec-es, pour enough water on it to cover, then cook it. Put the soup cube into the water. After the broccoli gets soft, put some pieces aside for later decoration. Mix the rest thoroughly and cover by cover it by adding the cream. Boil it and add some nutmeg, pepper, lemon juice and mashed garlic to taste. Serve it with the broc-coli pieces you put aside and crouton. Gourmets may put grated cheese into it. Enjoy your meal!

Let’s see what the most important components of broccoli are:

• Glucosinolates: through chemical processes they split into the following compounds:

o Indolo Isothiocyanate (e.g.: sulforaphane)

• Carotenoids (e.g.: lutein)• Vitamin A, B6, C, E, K• Folic acid• Dietary fibres• Phosphorus, potassium, magnesium

Something will master and something will serve. Either you run the day or the day runs you;either you run the business or the business runs you.

Learn how to separate the majors and the minors. A lot of people don’t do well simply because they major in minor things.

Don’t mistake movement for achievement. It’s easy to get faked out by being busy. The question is: Busy doing what?

Days are expensive. When you spend a day you have one less day to spend. So make sure you spend each one wisely.

Sometimes you need to stay in touch but be out of reach.

Time is our most valuable asset, yet we tend to waste it, kill it, and spend it rather than invest it.

Time Managementby Jim ROhn

We can no more afford to spend major time on mi-nor things than we can to spend minor time on major things.

Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.

Never begin the day until it is finished on paper.

Learn how to say no. Don’t let your mouth overload your back.

Time is the best-kept secret of the rich.
