Ferdinand Magellan discovered that the world was round. He wanted to find out that it actually was round.
He got a crew of men, got 5 boats, and sailed off.
He started in his journey in 1519. Magellan didn’t make it to shore, he got
stuck in war and died with a spear through his heart and a poisoned arrow in his foot. His crew made it, though.
