1. LINE POST SPACING VARIES DEPENDING ON MANUFACTURER. ADDmONAL STEP-IN POSTS MAY BE NEEDED TO REINFORCE CORNERS, TURNS OR DIPS IN THE TERRAIN.
2. FENCE TYPE CLIPS OR JUMPERS ARE A QUICK AND EASY WAY TO ATTACH THE NETTING TO THE ELECTRIC SOURCE ESPECIALLY WITH AN ADJOINING FENCE. MANY MANUFACTURERS HAVE CLIPS BUILT IN TO LINK SECTIONS OF NETTING TOGETHER, BUT THE ENERGIZER OR SOME SECTION OF FENCE NORMALLY HAS TO BE SHUT OFF TO DO THIS.
3. IT IS BEST NOT TO SEPARATE MOTHERS FROM PROGENY WITH ELECTRIFIED NETTING DURING A WEANING PROCESS. USE A PHYSICAL BARRIER FENCE INSTEAD. SOME ANIMALS HAVE A VERY STRONG HERDING INSTINCT AND MAY TRY TO GET THROUGH FENCE HOT OR NOT TO BE ABLE TO JOIN THE ANIMALS ON THE OTHER SIDE.
4. DO NOT LEAVE NETTING OFF (NOT ENERGIZED) WHEN SHEEP, GOATS OR POULTRY ARE NEAR IT. IF YOU DO THEY LOSE THEIR FEAR. THEN WHEN THE NET IS TURNED ON THEY CHALLENGE THE NET AND MAY BECOME ENTANGLED.
