we reach an estimated 10 million people out o a total population o 42 million.

While mainstream print media are circulated in limited numbers, ourrecurring magazines Fema and Si Mchezo! are printed in 170,000 and175,000 copies respectively making them the most circulated maga-zines in anzania. According to AMPS 2009, 42% o the adult popula-tion (9.8 million people) know Fema. Each week the magazine is read

by 2.8 million people making it the most read in the country. Si Mchezo!is the second most read magazine with an estimated 2.6 million readersper issue. Almost 1 million anzanians are regular viewers o our weekly

V alk Show and 3.4 million watch the show every now and then.

Te Pilika Pilika radio show is estimated to have more than 5.4 millionlisteners in mainland anzania and Chezasalama.com has more than35,500 registered users. ogether, this makes Femina HIP anzania’smost recognised and e ective media plat orm promoting healthy li e-styles and livelihoods.

and tailored distributionsystem ensuring timely ande cient delivery to part-ners. ogether with EastA rican Movies Limited,who operates the FeminaExpress distribution sys-tem, we reach across anza-

nia to both regional, districtand ward level. We also distrib-ute through partner organisationsand carry out the majority o the Dares Salaam distribution ourselves.

Femina HIP has more than 900 partner organisations andmore than 2,300 secondary schools across the country in ourdistribution database. More than 500 schools and partner or-ganisations are on our waiting list.

We procure our distribution and printing servicesregularly to ensure that we get the best available

service at highly competitive prices. We contin-uously monitor our distribution to ensure thatcopies reach their fnal destination.

Staying in touch with our audiencesOur community mobilisation and outreachteam travels to schools and communities

across anzania to meet with our audiences.

Tis enables us to get eedback and to ensure thatour products are up-to-date and resonate with our
