• Produces estrogen.• Produces, stores, and transports ova.• Provides a place for fertilization to occur.• Protects and nourishes the fertilized egg

as it grows and matures into a human being.

How to take care of the Female Reproductive System:

1. Get regular checkups by a physician.2. Bathe regularly. 3. During menstruation (period) change

tampons and sanitary pads frequently.4. Practice sexual abstinence before

marriage

Male Reproduction system

Functions of the Male Reproductive System:

• Produces testosterone• Produces, stores, and transports sperm

How to take care of the Male Reproductive System:

1. Get regular checkups by a physician.2. Bathe regularly3. Wear a protective cup or supporter during

athletic activities to prevent accidental injuries.4. Practice sexual abstinence before marriage.

• You will be given a booklet and a worksheet.• Using the booklets, label the diagrams with

the correct terms and functions. You must also color each organ using different colors for each one.

• It is important that you label them in your own words so that it is easier for you to remember.
