Fees MOP Application Fee 1,000 Annual School Fees Pre-Kindergarten - full day program, Junior and Senior Kindergarten 74,000 Grade 1 to Grade 3 93,000 Grade 4 to Grade 6 100,000 Grade 7 to Grade 9 105,000 Grade 10 to Grade 12 111,000 School fees consist of 2 parts; the tuition fee and other fees. Approximately 25% of school fees are designat- ed as other fees. Other fees include textbooks and handouts, online educational materials, arts and crafts supplies, insurance, all field trips within Macao, snacks for kindergarten, and overseas examinations for high school. Additional costs may be payable for tutorial lessons and individual support, overnight field trips, and additional learning materials. All students in Grades 5 to Grade 12 will be required to participate in a local or international Experience Week activity. Students will be responsible for the partial fees associated with their chosen trip/activity during Experience Week. Lunches and school bus service need to be paid directly to each supplier by the parent/family. Effective September 2004, TIS was recognized by the Macao Education Department for fee subventions for Macao resident students. Macao resident subventions are for Macao ID cardholders only i.e. parents whose children qualify for government education and other available support benefits. The Macau Government is presently maintaining the existing subvention levels as set out below. C. Payment of Fees
1. The Application Fee is payable upon submission of the form to the School.
2. Once a child has been tested and accepted by the School, the Advance Payment for annual tuition fees is payable within ten days. The Advance Payment is non-refundable.
3. When a student enters the School other than at the beginning of a school term, tuition fees will be calculated on a pro rata basis. If a student enters the School from the 1st to the 14th day of any month, the total tuition fees for a full month will be charged for such month. If entry is from the 15th to the end of any month, a half month’s fee will be charged for such month.
4. The installment schedule for 2017/2018 school fee payments will be as follows:
5. Government subventions that are paid directly to the School for students qualifying as Macao residents will be credited to fee installments after such amounts are received from the government.
6. The ‘Founder Student Discount’ in the amount of MOP2,500 will be deducted from the 2nd installmentfee for qualifying students.
7. If school fees are late more than 10 days, a non-refundable late fee of MOP500 will be charged.
8. If tuition fees remain unpaid at the end of the school term, the School will consider the studentwithdrawn and in the event that the student wishes to return to TIS, they will be required to meet admission requirements once again (admission test and fee) and all outstanding fees must be paid. A school place for the following school term will not be held for any student with unpaid tuition fees.
