Collect planned acquisition data directly from Business units (not Contracting offices).

Use this data to plan and staff procurement operations

Provide public access to this data via the Internet.

This field should be very general in nature since it will be viewed by the public.   Examples might include: Security Guard Services – Texas; Office Furniture – Washington, DC area; Ammunition (do not include caliber); Firearms;

Firm Direction from CAO to Components(Initially we will be herding cats.)

Early Selection of AAP Coordinators(We will teach them how to fish.)

No PR without an AAP(The only way to engage the business units.)

DHS – 3 years to get all components (2,000 users)

DOC – In first year still missing components (500 users)
