• SmartBUY BPAs have just been awarded for FDCC Baseline Configuration Management and Vulnerability Scanning/ Remediation tools to support OMB’s policy memoranda M-07-18, M-08-05, and M-08-22.

• Core requirements: software must have passed NIST’s validation testing for Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and for FIPS 140-2 Encryption. SmartBUY’s push for SCAP validation ensured that 17 more products were SCAP validated in less than one year.
