TLC MINISTRY

If you would like to help with our TLC Ministry (taking meals to the sick or

sorrowing), please speak to Mary Lewis Govero or Pam Miller.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Jackson Crisis Line trains volunteers to assist troubled callers by listening,

counseling, providing referrals, and intervening in crises. Volunteers also receive

training to make calls to their elderly clients. Classes will begin on Saturday, March 4,

2017 and will meet from 8AM - 5PM at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church. If

you want more information or have questions please call 601-713-4099.

OFFICER TRAINING

Please continue to pray for the Officer Training Class being held every Monday night

at 6:30 p.m. Upon completion of training, the newly qualified candidates will be

presented for a Congregational vote on April 25, 2017.

MISSION CONFERENCE

Our Mission Conference will begin on Friday, February 24, through February 26,

2017. There will be a Ladies Luncheon on Saturday, February 25th. Mrs. Helen

Martin will speak to the ladies and Dr. Joseph Martin, Professor of Christian

Ministries at Belhaven University will be the keynote speaker.
