Joining the Parish
Whether you have been worshipping with us for a
while or are new to the area, we are happy that
you are here.
To officially join our parish, fill out and send in
a registration form, either by mail or by email
to [email protected]. Forms can be
found under the bulletin boards at all entrances.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is during the 11am
Mass. Every week, children K-3rd are dismissed
following Opening Prayer and rejoin their
families during the offertory collection. They walk
to the Apostles Room in Barry Hall where they
hear and discuss the readings in words they can
understand.
There is also a Nursery for ages 1-4 in the
Disciples Room in Barry Hall during the 11am
Mass. You can drop off your child before Mass.
Calendar for the Week
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
We have a room available for those who have a
child who isn’t consolable or is experiencing a
difficult time. The room is behind the main altar
and adjacent to the sacristy. There is a TV
monitor so that you may still view and participate
in the Mass and your child will be able to move
about the room. For your convenience a changing
station is available. Although we have made it as
child proof as possible, we ask that the parents
please supervise their children while in the room.
The best way to access this room is through the
door at the end of the hallway to the left side of
the sanctuary. There is a sign on the door
indicating the Family room entrance.

Gather & Serve
On February 22, 2019, 28 people are heading to San Jose Villanueva, El Salvador. Several Christ the King parishioners are going, including students from Bishop Brady, Bow, and Concord High schools. We will be sending a message of love and hope.
In terms of projects, we will be working together with the Perez and Calderon families as they build their homes during the week we are there.
Here’s how you can be part of this journey!
· Saturday February 9: At 6:00 pm in the activity center, we’ll be hosting Pupusa Night, serving a basic meal of this traditional Salvadoran food. 10 adult; $5 child/student; $25 max for family.
· Saturday February 9 and Sunday February 10: After all Masses, travelers will be selling various items from El Salvador to help with trip supplies and costs.
· As always: please pray for us and the Salvadorans we will meet.
For general questions, please contact Ignatius MacLellan at 203-6677 or [email protected]. Que la paz de Cristo esté con ustedes. (May the peace of Christ be with you.)
Muchas Gracias!
