UMW Circle Meetings

Matheson Circle / Tues. Feb 7 / 10am / Gym O’Neal Perry Circle / Thurs. Feb 9 / 5:30pm / FH Kinghorn Circle / Mon. Feb 13 / 12 noon / Library

Sojourners Sojourners will meet on Wed. February 1st at 11:30am for their regular monthly meeting. Please bring a sack lunch and dessert & tea will be furnished.

Cancer Support Group A community support group for those impacted by cancer yourself or with a loved one. Please join our group for our meeting on Thursday, February 9/ 7:00pm. in the Church library. UMM Breakfast The United Methodist Men will have their monthly breakfast meeting on Sun. February 12th at 7:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Mandy Floyd, Director of the Bell Family YMCA, will be giving us an update on activities at our local YMCA. Come join us for a great time of food & fellowship.

Lay Servant Ministries Lay Servants are to serve the local church or charge in any way in which their witness or leadership and service inspires the laity to deeper commitment to Christ and more effective discipleship. This includes the interpretation of scriptures, doctrine, organization, and ministries of the church. If you are interested in taking Lay Servant courses, please come by the office and pick up a copy of course offerings. Classes are taught at different churches in the Conference. Hartwell First will host 3 courses offered Aug. 12, 19 & 26, 2017.
