The Novena to St Joseph’s Table, is led by the Council of Catholic Women which starts on March 10th. We gather around a statue of St Joseph and pray the St Joseph version of the Rosary for our community but especially for all the men. On the feast of St Joseph we gather for Mass to celebrate our patron, the patron of the universal Church. Then enjoy a meal which is open to the community, all who are able to provide will share with all that are welcome. With the St. Joseph’s Table taking place on Monday during Mission week, we are in need of many hands. We are inviting our brothers and sisters from St. Alexander and St. John the Apostle to join us again, as well. If you helped last year we are looking forward to seeing you and those you love again. If you are able to provide any donations of time, talent or money please contact the parish office.

The Buzz Diocese of Joliet-CEF FACTS Application Deadline, March 1st, 2018

HFCS will host an Open Lab on February 22, from 6

-8 pm. The Catholic Education Founda-tion (CEF) uses a third party company, FACTS Grant and Aid Company, in order to objectively evaluate the need for financial aid. The web site for the FACTS Grant and Aid Company is online.factsmgt.com. There is a required $30 application fee per family that is CHARGED BY the FACTS Company. ONE APPLI-CATION can include MULTI-PLE STUDENTS and/or SCHOOLS. It is important to note that fami-lies will only be considered for financial aid if their application is VERIFIED by the FACTS Com-pany. In order to verify the family income information, FACTS will require copies of financial docu-ments including Federal Income Tax forms and W-2s. All sup-porting documents should be sub-mitted as soon as possible after the March 1 application deadline. Applications that are incomplete and do not have the supporting documentation verified by the FACTS Grants and Aid company will not be considered. Federal Income tax forms from last year and w2s from the current year are accepted. Questions on completing the FACTS Grant and Aid applica-tion may be answered by calling the FACTS helpline directly at 1-866-441-4637.
