HIGH SCHOOL There will be an Edge Athletics information meeting for all those interested in trying out for AAU Boys basketball age groups 11u through 17u on Sunday, February 21, at 1pm. The meeting will be held at the Poughkeepsie Day School Gymnasium located on Boardman road in the Town of Poughkeepsie. Catholic Widows and Widowers of Ulster County

The Catholic Widows and Widowers of Ulster Co. usually meet on the 3rd Sunday each month at noon. The group meets for brunch and a meeting. Many events are planned during the year with picnics and -dinners. New people always welcomed. Call Pat Merck for information at 658-9247.

Camp Veritas 2016 Camp Veritas is a one-week play-and-pray sleep away summer camp for teens going into 7th to 12th grades. It will be held at three USA locations in 2016; July 24-30 at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY, July 31 -August 6th, 2016 at Summit Lake Camp in Emmitsburg, MD and August 14-20, 2016 at Camp Lakota in Wurtsboro, NY. Enrollment opens 1/1/16 and the enrollment price for each week is $400 per camper. Early bird rates (if paid in full by 4/1/16) are $370 for all sites. $425 with early bird rate of $400 for the basketball program option at Mount Saint Mary College only. More details and enrollment forms for campers and volunteers (18 and over) can be found at www.campveritas.com.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS

St. Joseph’s Religious Education Program will be selling Raffle Tickets for their Spring Fund Raiser. A $100.00 Shoprite Gift Card will be raffled off on Wednesday March 9, 2016. Tickets will be sold during the weekend of March 5/6, 2016 after the 5pm Mass on Saturday and after all the morning Masses on Sunday. Thank you for your generosity to our program.
