Sun & Valentines Reading - identifying setting in a story, rhyming words, adjectives, opposites, plural nouns, asking questions about things unknown and stories, and ending sounds in words. Writing -writing how-to stories by using steps, capitalizing at the beginning of each sentence, stretching words out to hear more sounds (vowels), spacing between words, and punctuation. Math - Recognizing, writing, and counting numbers 0- 20, counting objects in scattered configurations, counting on from any given number, comparing numbers and objects as greater, less than, equal, and composing simple shapes to form larger shapes. Science - investigating living and non-living organisms, sun and space Fine Motor - scissor grip/cutting & pencil grip (please work on these nightly) Sight Words - as, by, come (review: big, so, & how) Word Family - -ag (ex. cop, hop, mop, pop,…) February 10-14, 2020 Thing to work on at home!
