¼" seam allowances are included.WOF means width of fabric.
Fabric A: Cut two (2) 5 ½" x 3“ rectangle, Cut eight (8) 3" squares.
Fabric B:Cut four (4) 3" squares.
Fabric C: Cut two (2) 5 ½" x 3“ rectangle,
Fabric D: Cut two (2) 5 ½" x 3“ rectangle,
Fabric E: Cut two (2) 5 ½" x 3“ rectangle, Cut four (4) 3" squares.

Sew all rights sides together with ¼"seam allowance.
•This block is made out of flying geese, in order to complete it there are four different combinations of it and a total of eight.
•start with combination a, Take one 3" x 5½" rectangle from fabric A and two 3" squares from fabric E.
•grab the rectangle from fabric A and place one of the fabric E squares on top of it right sides together. Make sure it is aligned to the right with the drawn line going upward to the left. proceed to sew directly on top of the drawn line.

• once you sew that, proceed to measure ¼" from that seam toward the outside of the block and cut excess with a rotary cutter. use a ruler for better accuracy

• press fabric E so that all right sides of fabric are on the same side

•repeat the previous steps on the left side of the rectangle
•This is how the final geese look.
•Make another flying geese with this same combination to end up having two of combination a.
•set aside.
•for combination b take one 3" x 5½" rectangle from fabric E and two 3" squares from fabric A.
•repeat the flying geese steps and make two for this combination.
•set aside.
•for combination c take one 3" x 5½" rectangle from fabric D and two 3" squares from fabric A.
•repeat the flying geese steps and make two for this combination.
•set aside.
•for combination d take one 3" x 5½" rectangle from fabric C and two 3" squares from fabric B.
•repeat the flying geese steps and make two for this combination.
•set aside.
•now that all the flying geese are sewn together attach them together as above or follow the cover picture as a reference.
