Does it work? – Britex ARID range of urinals have been extensively tested and approved by Australian Standards for Watermark™ as both a Waterless and Flushing urinal. ARID urinals have an Australian designed and patented waste which requires no cartridges, no messy chemicals, no cleaning, no additional maintenance.

Cleaning – Cleaning of the Britex ARID range is done as part of the regular maintenance cycle. As water does not effect our urinal waste, cleaning is done as per standard washroom cleaning. There is no need to wipe it dry by hand, and no chemicals to change.

Simple Urine flows down the waste. The silicone diaphragm opens,

allowing liquid to pass through. Once urine has flowed through

the diaphragm, it closes. When diaphragm is closed,

a positive seal is created, therefore trapping odour within the pipes and not in the atmosphere.
