A 50th year anniversary is pretty special. It means that an associa-

tion has proven itself. It has delivered on its promises, adapted to

change and weathered economic ups and downs. It also proves that

the group has merit, integrity and solidarity in working together.

Our spring conference this year will celebrate this milestone. It will

be a special time to honor those who helped make the association

long-lasting and valuable. While all our conferences are outstanding

this one promises to be a notch or two above. Besides selecting a his-

toric venue—the Drake Hotel—we are offering a celebration dinner

with a world-renown guest speaker, the one and only Mike Ditka.

But the best attraction of all will be the ‘homecoming’ of many mem-

bers who helped build UPF&DA’s firm foundation. It will be a time of

reunion and planning for the next 50 years.

We hope you will make a special effort this year to attend our spring

conference. It will be a time to make new friends, visit with old ac-

quaintances and celebrate the work that we do in the specialty pest

control industry.

Happy 50th Anniversary
