where challenges happen and attitude changes.

My ink brought me here! (Dear Charo) I am a first timer in an exquisite journey bursting with hard

work and determination. Trough my extraordinary flair and imaginative mind inwriting. I encounter this an experience which is remarkable in my red apple-likepumping heart and my brown worm-like unique mind.

Huhhuh late na kaya ako? My sweat flows in my ace as Im in a hurry (exhausting!). Cause you know

why? I am going to compete in the regional contest! Perhaps one o the bestthings to discover! Ive been waiting or a long time to eel this strange emotionan emotion or a once in a lietime experience (hope I am not going to be late onthe said call time! YIKES!).

Finally! Ive reached the bus. You know what Ive ound there? Tereare others like me also experiencing the eelings that I have. But, thistrip will not become coo ler and more ASIG! without my naughty yetbeloved classmates who are also joining the tilt.

Guys! Doon tayo umupo! Haha! We are at the backseat o the bus (the noisiest part o the

bus) Definitely it will be ok to my buddies (cause we areso boisterous!). Broom! PWEW! Te bus is about to leaveour hometown! (aww!) But wait! Our bus is the second to

the last to leave! (Teres someone whos late). Haha! Tats alright unless the driver doesnt know the route othis trip. During our trip going to OO! (Later I will reveal our destination) I noticed the ambiance o our

bus. Everyone has different activities to dillydally while waiting to arrive to OO! (Later PROMISE!). Some arelistening music with their earphone, reading books, taking themsel ves a picture (selfie), talking with their seatmate(Ayieee!) and other boredom killer stuffs.

Eventually, afer 2 hours o hanging on inside the bus We are now here! antaranantanan ! NASUGBU,BAANGAS! It is said to be the first class municipality in the province o Batangas (Nice! First class! Di ma-reach!).

When we entered our quarters, which are in Nasugbu West Central School, we encountered a arm-likeatmosphere. By the time we c ame to our designated quarters, I looked around and observed the school. o be honest,it is neat and organized! All o their buildings were colored in blue (Yeah! My Favorite!), its very cool to see-lookslike rereshing to my eyes.

Settling in the quarters, I can hear outside the clattering o sugar cane actory (cause the school was near there).I can also smell the smoke rom that actory (though its not that irritating to the, in act it smells sweet).

During our 5 days and 4 nights stay in our billeting quarter, I am always having a goose bump effect as the coldair touches my skin. I really miss the time that when I woke up in the morning Ive always aced the strange scenario cold air, noise rom the actory, pikinish sky and aroma o the coffee (aah!! Really Awesome!).

I will never orget the cold night with a clear night sky and shining stars in Nasugbu to the point that I find away to mitigate my eeling o having this cold temperature in my body. Tats why I am looking or a coffee to drink.Suddenly, I saw the vendor shouting, Bili na kayo! Kapeng Barako! So without even knowing, I run towards him tobuy what hes selling. Ohhh!!! A Kapeng Barako with Bread! Tats really great! I paid the price and my mouth says itall. Te coffee with bread tastes good!

I remember the time that our adviser lef us in our quarter and on that moment, our brothers and sisters (our-one students) think o some gimiks or us to be entertained. Tey decided to play the flip top battle (its like aBalagtasan but in modern version).

Ketchup ka ba? one brother asked.Bakit? our sister replied.Kasi, bagay ka sa hot dog ko! BOOM! he shouted.Galing mo pick-up!!!!! we yelled and started to laugh so hard.But, when our adviser saw us, she scolded us because we are doing annoying things, Antipolo National High

School! Ang-iingay nyo! Nakakahiya sa iba! E kung mag-ocus na lang kayo at may contest pa yung iba sa inyobukas! our adviser shouted irritably. Tough embarrassing, still, its really a unny experience.

Ten, we explored some o its tourist spots. I you have gone to the places that I will mention, you willnever regret the moment that you c ame there.

We decided to experience the splash island o Nasugbu. But beore that, i you are thinking that in this

place you can see the statue o soldiers along with their tanks, well, you are definitely right! It is the NasugbuCanyon Cow! Anyhow, weve just taken ourselves a picture picture here, jump shot there, selfie everywhere!Aferwards, we eventually eventually to the black sea o Nasugbu! As I stepped on its dark sand, I elt like walking

on the moon due to its oam-like texture. I stared the whole landscape o the sea and took a picture o it as a part o mywonderul memories. I wasnt able to swim there because I dont want to interrupt the nice view plus the act

that I brought my camera (its not waterproo! LOL).Anyways, at this point, I want you to be quiet (good reader! JOKE!!)as I introduce to you this last spot

weve gone to. (angels sing) I you want to find a calm and ascinating place in Nasugbu, yes way! It got it allor you! In St. Francis Xavier Church, a historical parish church built in 1852, you will be mesmerized withits impeccable architectural structures and designs. I you enter and you look up, you can see dimensionalpaintings and some portraits o saints on the ceiling.

Teres also a point that my soul was enlightened such that the church really hook up my attention tobe quiet and listen to the sound o serenity and contemplation. Tat church is one o the best churches Iveever visited. And I will never orget that moment.

Afer the regional contestI did not make it to the national. (aww!) However, at least Ive tried my best. Besides, its an awesome

experience. Tose memories will remain memories that define who I am. And thats how my journey ends. Tough it takes chances to achieve Ive reached the pinnacle o my

goal, to learn lessons and to earn memories. Tose are the best things I can have in this voyage. From the firstscribble o the pen on the paper until the last period o this article, those precious moments will turn into inkand will last in my bloo d that flows in my nature as a writer.

Tis trip can be your trip as well. I youre indulging over your doubts about this path, just try to openyour mind to every opportunity that comes to your doorstep. Just keep on dreaming and believing that yourgoals are about to be ulfilled. Who knows, it will make all the difference.

I want to do something this Holy Week, a visit maybe from any of the churches here in Antipolo City. Let methink aha! I knew it! Im so excited about this journey.

I dont know why but everytime I visit this church in Antipolo and take a glimpse of the mystique beauty of alady, there is something that urges me to discern her history.

As I am falling in line, waiting for my turn to touch her, a woman suddenly appeared at my side. Shes smiling

at me when Im amusingly looking at her. Shes wearing a long white dress with a blue veil. She has a small angelicface, and rapturous, entrancing eyes of a woman. She shows a demure personality. And that kind of look pushes meto trust herand I did.

During the times shes close to me, she told me a story that reveals the history behind the mysterious womanwho is the reason of my visit here in Antipolo Cathedral.

She rst arrived here in the Philippines year 1626, her rst journey. That time, the newly-appointed Governor of the Philippines Don Juan Nio De Tabora brought her with him from Mexico, the ladysaid as she started her narration.

Her image was transferred to several places since her arrival in the country. From her originalhome in the church of San Ignacio in Intramuros to Sta. Cruz in Antipolo where she miraculously disappeared andlater found on top of a Tipolo tree (where the name of Antipolo was derived), she added.

In 1639, the Chinese rose in revolt, burning the Antipolo town and church. In the fear that the statue mightbe destroyed, Governor Sebastian Hurtado de Corcuera ordered for her to be transferred back to Cavite where shewas temporarily venerated. But she was charged in Cavite Shrine in 1648 and was shipped back to Mexico. At that time,she served as the protector of the Acapulco trade until 1748 where she made ve trips and each time she brought theship safely back to the Philippines.

Down to her present home, she had survived wars, uprisings, plagues, earthquake and any other calamities. The church of Antipolo was declared as a National Shrine in 1954 and consecrated as the seat of the Diocese

of Antipolo in 1982, thus, making her Shrine as the Cathedral of Antipolo up to present, she stated.

The lady continued, her Oratory which honors the sixteenth century devotion of Filipinos to her was dedicatedon June 7, 1997 by the late James Cardinal Hickey of the Archdiocese of Washington, and the most Reverend ProtacioGungon, Bishop of Antipolo. The Oratory has become a favorite destination of Filipinos since its dedication. Anational pilgrimage is held every year in response to the numerous requests of Filipino-American Catholics topromote devotion to the Blessed Mother. In addition, monthly devotional masses are held on the last Saturday ofeach month for her devotees.

I am just attentively listening to her. I am impressed on how well she knows every detail of that history.At last, I reached the end. Now, Im standing right in front of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, thewoman in narration. Our Birhen is a proof of Filipinos love and devotion to Mary, whose love is undyingand unconditional, and whose maternal protection continues as we journey through the roads of our lives.

For once, I want to thank this lady beside me. But when I look at my side, shes gone! I scanaround but there was no sight of her. I look upon the Virgins image again then I realized that the ladyI was talking to a while ago and the image I am looking right nowis the same. The white dressblueveilangelic faceentrancing eyesdemure personalitykind lookare all similar.

Thats the reason why the lady knows the whole story of our Birhen ng Antipolo. Indeedher story is the reality behind the mystery.

Wonderlaida is neither a memberof the justice League nor one of

the superheroes we can watch intelevision. She is just a normal personbut with super natural powers.

Adelaida Aquino San Diego isthe person behind this wonder woman

costume. She is also known as Deling.She was born on December 16, 1953 inMorong, Rizal. Her parents are Sophia S.Aquino and Heminigildo S. San Diego.

They are 11 children in their familyand shes the 7th, and even though theyhave a big family, they have proventhat poverty is not a hindrance to onessuccess.

When she was still a child, no onewas able to discover her powers. Evenshe, was not aware that she possessesextraordinary powers.

But unexpectedly When she nished her studies in

high school, she started to feel somethingdifferent. A power which forced her to

choose Education as her course and nished itat Tomas Claudio Memorial College.

She then started to acquire extra ordinarypower unknowingly.

She began to start her mission as a teacherin Antipolo National High School and servedas one of the light that guides those studentswho dream to be successful after nishing theirstudies.

She has been assigned to different schoolswhere she shares her knowledge and motivatesstudents to dream high and make it come truethrough hard work and perseverance.

Finally.her wonder principal powers cameout and has been assigned to different schools.

God gave her a bigger mission to accomplish

After more than a decade, Wonderlaidareturns.. Shes back to this place where shestarted to hone her hidden powers. ANTIPOLONATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

She learned that through discipline she cando all her best to perform her duties.

As a new principal of this school, sheenvisions to improve the teaching and learningperformance in order to regain the lost gloryof the said institution in terms of academicperformances and not to be left behind by otherschools.

I shall pass through this world but once, anygood therefore, that I can do or any kindnessthat I can show let me do it now, let me not deferor neglect it for I shall never pass this way again.
