Integrating FDQM with the Target Hyperion Applications

In this topic we are going to learn how to integrate the FDM application with the Target

Application

Overviewof FDQM:

Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (Hyperion FDM) is an advanced DataTransformation Management (DTM) solution. Hyperion FDM provides a single, systematicprocess for loading source data from disparate systems into target analytical

applications. The Hyperion FDM process provides data visibility, integrity, andverification.

Simply we can say it is a perfect loading tool for the target Hyperionapplications like HFM, Enterprise, Essbase , Planning ,etc.

In this session we are going to see about the Adapter Installing and Configuration in FDM

We need adapter mechanism to build the connection between FDQM to other Hyperion

applications.

Eg: FM11XG5C/FM11IG5C are the adapters using for building connection between FDQM

to HFM.

We have two adapters for HFM i.e..

FM11XG5C: For Generic Applications

FM11IG5C: For Intercompany Partner Applications

Hyperion FDM features and benefits include the following:

Acting central repository of all source financial data

Ability to archive source files, error logs, and load files

Ability to import source data from any formatted text file or data source

Multiple dimension mapping and validating capability

Data validation and quality checking

Click Ok to create the Application

Login to the FDM Web logon with that application credentials

Select File > Import. The Open Metadata Import File dialog box is displayed.

4. Browse to find the file named and click Open.
