The only quortion of the quertionnalre duly

returned by Y u g o - S l a v l a lo question 5 concerning the

olasnlfication of the number of Ruralan refugees without

prospect of employment. .'’he total figure of these

refugees is 13,376. Prom a special report sent in by

this country, we gather that t h e number of refugees

incapable of maintaining thcihselves is 16,398 and the total

number of refugees in Vugo-Hlavln ?G,OGG. In other words,

if the questionnaire mentioned above has actually been

duly executed, all refugees would be either unemployed or

Invalids. Thir, of course, ir not probable, and one

s h o u ld s u p p o s e t h a t t h e return 1b merely a classification

of Russian refugees in general L„ occupations.

A table has been added to the ouentionnai. re by

this country in which Is given under the title of "without

orofesslon" the numter of 1 3,59 3. There refugees are

Hprarentlv" person- incapable of maintaining themselves by

reason of old a e , sickness and invalidity and are most

likely Included in the fipure mentioned above for refugees

incapable of maintaining themselves. The difference

between the two figures, 13,593 and 16,398 can be explained

by the fact that in the last figure children under 14 are

included, whereas in the txs* first children are probably

excluded.
