Stabilize, and sustainably reverse, the disappearance trend of natural forests from2017 and simultaneously restore, gradually forest cover to reach 20% of forest coverby 2030, then manage them in a sustainable way , while ensuring the goals of povertyreduction, human and social development of local communities in a framework ofsocial, cultural and gender equity.

- Specific methodologies under development (HCV, HCS, land use monitoring) to ensure a direct link between REDD+ Strategy and NFMS options

CONCLUSION - READINESS
REDD+ Readiness progress is considered by all stakeholders as
sufficiently consistent to initiate the investment phase.
Particular attention should be paid to strengthening financial
management, operationalizing the GRM/complaints mechanism,
the benefit-sharing mechanism and the creation of the national
REDD+ fund.
