Current Joint Standards Development
• ATIS and TIA jointly developed the J-STD-025 series.
• J-STD-025-B (Packet Mode) approved for trial use with unresolved “No” vote from Law Enforcement (LE). Now being balloted for publication as ANS.
– cdma2000 packet data included
– ATIS T1.678 VoP Wireline by reference
– ATIS 3GPP TS 33.108 GPRS/UMTS (now T1.724) by reference• Includes both packet data and VoP support
• J-STD-025-C Proposed: Supports maintenance, amendments and revisions to J-STD-025-B. ATIS’ participation is being reviewed.
