– Eg.: A config with 150+ disks, 25+ DGs, 150+ volumes can take 30+ minutes to failover

• Contributors to long failover time

– DG deport, DG import, Rescan, Object creation, Volume arrival handling

• Solution:

– Avoid full deport/import of disk group during failover

– Optimize the online/offline mechanisms of resources like MountV, VMDg
