The 21st century bombshel l has everything - a successful career, a beautiful baby, and the reputation of someone so loved no one can hate her. One of the only other women comparable to these “achievements” is Dalida.

! After secretly entering the Miss Egypt contest and finishing first, she went on to act in films in Cairo before being spotted by a French director. Amidst tough times in France, she took time off her acting career to take singing lessons. Her career only went uphill from there.Over a span of 40 years, she created 19 number one hit singles and many top 10 and top 20 hits. From this, she brewed a vast international reputation. Languages came at no difficulty for her - as a polyglot, she spoke ten different languages, producing songs in French, German, English, Egyptian, Spanish, Flemish, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese and Lebanese.! Equally impeccable to her voice was her sense of style. She never set foot onstage without a beautiful, long couture gown with a

plunging neckline on or a swingy eye-catching dress splattered with sequins. Off stage, her style was much more subdued, but still timeless. She stuck to the classics, like white bikinis, stripes, and flowy white tops. Not to be forgotten is her gorgeous hair. Dark brown or a bright auburn,

her mane was always perfectly t a m e d a n d occasionally turned ‘40s glam for a day.! Dalida’s legacy lives through both her music and her effect on the fashion world. The Italian-Egyptian bombshell has lived long past her death.! ! !

Marsha A. Hunt was an insanely gorgeous person and was a highly intellectual model. Originally from Philly, she went to Berkeley and moved to London in 1966. ! Although she starred in a famous  Vogue   cover shot by Patrick Lichfield where she appeared naked, with her signature Afro, and was cast in the London musical Hair which became her iconic image of the 1960s, Hunt remains unknown to most music fans. There are no CDs of her music on the market and on iTunes. This is too bad, because she made worthwhile music during her career. Some great clips of her live on European TV have been popping up on YouTube and many of her known singles have made it to some audio blog. ! She married Mike Ratledge of the Soft Machine so she could stay in the country and is still married to him to this day, they have not been together for decades. She has come a long way since then and fighting cancer,still looks as youthful and beautiful . For the music nerds- you got to listen to her music , because no one is as poise as her .
