I found images on a fashion website and drew my illustrations from my favourite pieces. I then added a patterned texture behind

the images to bring out the idea of materials. Each illustration is different with its own stand out colour.

By using the same patterns as the cards I have mocked up designs where the pattern can also be used to create a whole gift wrapped

feel. I have made bags saying “ Happy Birthday”, a card stand and coloured ribbon.

I have designed five sets from the cards, which contain a card, envelope, gift tag, wrapping paper, gift bag, and ribbon.

Each set has the same colours and imagery as the card but without the illustration of the girl on it. I have used the same font

throughout but change the way it is laid out on different sets.

The cards with the girls on and “Happy Birthday” written next to them. The cards are A6 on gloss paper. The corners are cut at the side to give a smooth corner. The inside is plain so that

a person can write their own message.
