Product Description

● an open field version of carrom

● involves 4 players at a time with 2 teams of 2 members each

● Striker will be replaced by a football referred as strike-ball

● The carrom-men (the wooden puck, seed or coin) are replaced by balls referred to as coin-balls

● The corner pockets will be replaced by two flag posts that mark each corner pocket.

Story Board

● The player in charge kicks the strike-ball to knock the coin-balls into the corner pockets

● Other players try not to let any coin-ball move off the field

● For each coin ball going off the field the player which allows it to happen gets a negative score

● For each coin-ball knocked off well into any of the corne pockets bags the player points and an extra chance.

● All the rules of carrom are applicable.

Benefit Proposition

● The game is unisex, and can be played by any age group, almost anywhere provided a minimum space of 15' X 15'

● It provides the players a good physical exercise.

● It helps improve your skills to concentrate and target at a particular aim and thereby provides a fun activity.

● It involves all the 4 members of the game at all instants thus avoiding any player to wait for his turn.

Stakeholders

● Children : They are the main stakeholders as they constitute the major target group.

● Parents : They are the next group of stakeholders that hold a place indirectly.

● Game companies : They are the people who develop the game mainly for monetary benefits.

Primary and Secondary Market

● The primary market of the game are the children in age group 6-12 years of age

● Following factors make the game suit them:

1. acquaintance to carrom and football

2. fit for physical activity and co-ordinating

3. easily available playing area

4. Inexpensive

● The secondary market involves the family members as the game can be played by any age group. (For elder generation the game area and number of coin-balls be increased accordingly.)

Assumptions

● Area - minimum 15ft X 15ft, outdoor, (preferably) hard surface, levelled

● Location - empty space excluding roads.

● Players - minimum of 4 players

If more than 4 they should be in multiples of 4

● Climate - robust equipment so very less impact of rain, storm, etc.

● Stamina - enough to continue the play atleast 1/2 hour

● Set-up - game set up with rules explained to new players would take less than 5-7 mins.
