WHAT DOES A FARM AND RANCH MANAGER DO? Plan, direct, and coordinate the management or
operation of agricultural establishments. May hire, train, or supervise farm workers or
contract for services to carry out the day-to-day activities of the managed operation.
May engage in or supervise planting, cultivating, harvesting, financial, or marketing activities.

FARM AND RANCH MANAGEMENT The Farm and Ranch Management program is
designed for students who plan to pursue a career in some phase of production agriculture.
It involves intensive preparation and training in agricultural science, agricultural business and agricultural economics.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
This program offers the students the opportunity to complete a Technical Certificate in Beef Management and then continue to complete the Associate of Applied Science Degree.
This Program also offers the opportunity to receive a One Year Technical Certificate in Feedlot Management.
Farm and Ranch Management Students in these programs gain hands-on experience by working with the college-maintained livestock.
