The Manuscript

Like a long forgotten manuscript I stumbled upon you purely by chance.

Then, just as I was beginning to understand those inner workings of that outer part of your hidden being,

You were gone.

Learning

I learnt a lot from you.

Much was intangible

Little could be listed

But all had a profound effect..

Every Time

Every time I eat an Almond I will think of you.

Every time I eat a Date I will think of you.

And, in the heat of Summer, long after you are gone,

Every time I eat iced Water Melon I will think of you.

The Sandstorm

Like a Sandstorm, you appeared suddenly, wreaking havoc in every section of my mind, in every sinew of my body.

Then, before I could realize what was happening, you were gone, leaving behind nothing but sadness and a life changed forever.
