1. What is the difference between Free Edition and Premium Edition ?

Free edition allows you to use only 9 education software without any restriction and

without any expiry. In the remaining 25 softwares, certain features are locked. Also the 25

softwares will expire after certain number of trials. Whereas in the case of Premium

edition, it contains license for using all 34 education software without any restriction and

without any expiry.

11. Shall I use the same copy of the software on multiple computers ?

No. You cannot use the same copy on multiple computers without getting multiple licenses

from Golden K star. We use software activation technology to prevent software piracy and

hence you will be able to install and use the software only on the intended computers with

exclusive separate licenses.

12. What is product code ?

Product code is a 16 digit alpha-numeric. This number depends on the computer in which

you have installed the software. You can see your product serial number by clicking the"REGISTER" button on the main opening window of your Genius Maker - Premium edition

software. A typical Product code will look like the one shown below.

13. What is Software activation ?

Software activation OR Product activation is meant for preventing software piracy. It

prevents the user from installing and using the software on multiple computers without

multiple licenses. When a user installs the software on multiple computers, it will show

different product serial numbers for different computers. If you want to activate the

software on any computer, you have to send the Product serial number shown on that

particular computeronly to us along with payment. We will send the software activation

code pertaining to that particular computer. That code will be capable of activating that

particular computer only and it cannot activate any other computer. A typical software

activation code will be a 24 digit alpha-numeric and it will look like the one shown below.

14. Why should I activate the software ?

After activation only the software will function to its full capability and without any

restrictions. Until activation, its capabilities will be restricted to that of free edition.

15. How do I activate the software on my computer ?

Activating your software is an easy process. Simply follow the steps given below.

1. Install the software on the intended computer.

2. Open Genius Maker and then click "Registration" button on top of Genius Maker

window.

3. Note down the product code displayed.

4. Send an email to us, mentioning the product code and the unique id, which will be

supplied along with your CD.

5. You will receive the software activation code from us by reply email.

6. Open Genius Maker and then click "Registration" button on top of Genius Maker

window. Enter the received software activation code and click "Activate". That's it. You will

get a pop-up message stating the status of your activation.
