The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory (Big Bang: The Theory (title in Brazil) or The BigBang Theory (title in Portugal)) is an American television series created

by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, which are also executive producers of

the sitcom, which premiered on CBS on September 22, 2007.

Located in Pasadena, California, the show is about two Caltech

prodigies: an experimental physicist (Leonard Hofstadter) and a

theoretical physicist (Sheldon Cooper), who live across the hall from

an attractive blonde waitress with show-biz aspirations for (Penny).The "nerdeza" pure intellect and Leonard and Sheldon are comically

contrasted with social skills and common sense of Penny. The group is

still formed by Howard Wolowitz and Rajesh Koothrappali, two equally

geeky friends who also work at CalTech.

The first pilot episode of the series developed for the 2006-2007 TV season, and although it has not been approved, was given the opportunity to its creators revise it and resubmit it. Thus, the second pilot, directed by James Burrows, approved by CBS on May 14, 2007. The series premiered on

September 24, 2007 arose.

On October 19, 2007, was selected as the first comedy of the year 2007/08. The

production team of the series stopped activities on November 6, 2007 due to the writers

strike. On February 14, 2008, CBS picked the series for a second season along with eleven

other for the years 2008/09. The series was again broadcast on March 17, 2008, a little

The second season began being broadcast in the U.S. on September 22, 2008, and the third on September 21, 2009, and the fourth season on September 23, 2010. David Saltzberg, a professor of Physics and Astronomy, University of California , revises the scripts and provides dialogue, math equations, and diagrams used as adereços.8

The Canadian band Barenaked Ladies wrote and recorded the theme song, "The History of Everything" that

describes the development of the universe and the changes that Earth and humans have undergone since

the beginning of time.

On October 9, 2007, the band recorded a longer version of the theme (1 minute 45 seconds).

Soft Kitty is a children's music of English origin, popularized by an appearance on The Big Bang Theory, sung

by the characters Sheldon and Penny. "Soft Kitty", which referenced the song "Warm Kitty" were written by

Edith Newlin.

The music in this Portuguese titled "Soft Kitty, warm kitty, little ball of the" ... The music is sung to Sheldon when

he can not sleep, or is sick. Sheldon also sang this song when Penny had dislocated his shoulder.
