Kim Mason, a Personal Travel Manager with over 20 years experience, combines her passion for snowsports with her family travel expertise to bring you Family Snow Safaris (FSS).

So what is a Family Snow Safari? FSS is an Australian-hosted ski tour open to families of all ages. No minimum or maximum age! We have the best local ski guides escorting you to the secret haunts on the mountain, deluxe accommodation, group dining experiences and activities which means some serious FUN. And it’s not just for the adults – your kids will have a blast too!

Meet Kim Mason

WELCOME TO BIG WHITE! Arrive into Kelowna Airport for your transfer to Big White Ski Resort. Upon arrival at the resort, you will be greeted by your local Australian hosts and assisted with check-in. Rooms are available from 4pm on day of check-in.

Tonight we will meet at the Big White Chair for a tour of the village and welcome drinks. The rest of the evening is yours to explore the village and sample the local cuisine.

GUIDED SKIING DAY Enjoy our full day guided skiing days with our local guides (9am to 3:30pm). These are not just your normal guides. Having been at Big White for most of their life, they know all the best secret stashes and runs guiding us through all terrain. There is something for everyone!

At the end of the day, we head to our accommodation to enjoy relaxing in the spa and games room before heading to dinner at the Bullwheel – where the kids can play Masterchef and make their own pizza!

FREE DAY / FREE NIGHTToday is yours to enjoy. Explore the mountain on your own, take a lesson, take a snow shoe adventure, snow mobile tour or perhaps a much needed massage?

For dinner try out one of the many restaurants on the mountain. Please note that reservations may be required for some restaurants such as 6 Degrees.

GUIDED SKIING DAY Enjoy our full day guided skiing days with our local guides (9am to 3:30pm).

At the end of the day, we head to Happy Valley Lodge for some well-deserved Apres-skiing and live music!

FREE DAY AND GROUP DINNERA free day to continue exploring the mountain or take in a group or private lesson.

Tonight join us at Globe Tapas Restaurant for our group dinner to talk about the days exploits!

GUIDED SKIING DAY / FREE NIGHT Enjoy our full day guided skiing days with our local guides (9am to 3:30pm). Tonight is yours to enjoy on your own.

FREE DAY / SLEIGH RIDE DINNER A free day to explore the mountain or try one of the adventure activities on offer.

Tonight we meet at Laras Gondola base for our winter evening sleigh ride through the forest to the Warming Hut for dinner. The Hut is BYO alcohol
