ABOUT OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMSAs one of New Jersey’s anchor arts institutions, Mayo Performing Arts Center education programs are critical to our mission to provide cultural enrichment for both young audiences and the general public. MPAC is committed to the ex-tension of arts education and appreciation through theatre classes, workshops and seminars, school and community outreach programs, adult enrichment programs and teacher training. Our education programs provide significant opportunities for young people, increasing their exposure to the arts and expanding our cultural contribution to the community.

The performing arts program at Gill St. Bernard's School is well-known for its skilled student-actors, elaborate costumes and exceptional set designs. Directed by longtime Performing Arts Chair Paul H.
Canada, the GSB Players has received, in the past seven years alone, a total of 57 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star nominations as well as 18 Rising Star Awards—two for Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical—and 11 Honorable Mentions.
