• Do you have a LDS.org account? • Do you have a computer?• How long have you use the Family History

website, when was the last time you used it?• Do you have records on ancestors- Pictures,

Birth certificates, death certificates?

What Is Family History?• Gather information to identify your ancestors.• Record information about your ancestors to

link them into families.• Perform temple ordinances for your ancestors

who have not yet received them.

Setting up a LDS.ORG account

• Obtain your membership record # from the Ward Clerk, and old Tithing settlement statement or your Temple Recommend.

• Go to LDS.org and click the “signin/tools” link on the top.

Enter in your Membership Record number and answer the questions to create your user name and password.
