Dr. Kandare grew up in Virginia Beach when his father retired from the construction battalion of the Navy in the 1970s. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA in 2006, he decided to come back home to practice dentistry and be with his parents. He has been practicing dentistry in Hampton Roads for thirteen (13) years and is excited to continue the same philosophy and to carry on the legacy of quality compassionate dental care that Dr. Simmons has provided over the years.

Dr. Kandare resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his wife Laura and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to Costa Rica, reading, drawing with his sons, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, surfing and hiking.
