FVCC Charter Bus Trip to the Famed Nethercutt Automotive and Musical Instrument Museum Itinerary: This includes a stop enroute to see and ride Rosemary West’s 150 year-old operating Carousel in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. There we will get a look behind the scenes at the operation of the Merry-Go-Round and the pipe organ, and take a break for brunch at her snack bar. Our guided tour of the Nethercutt Car Collection is at 1:30 PM. We’ll arrive before then so you can spend time in the Museum building (unguided), see the Train, and/or take your lunch with you and have it before we start our tour at 1:30 PM. After the guided tour we will get to see the restoration/garage area where they prepare the cars for world-famous competitions, fabricate parts, etc. Leave for Fallbrook around 4:00 PM, to the Library around 6:15 or so. When: Saturday, March 10, 2018. Where: Park at the Fallbrook Library lower lot. Time: Bus departs at 7:30 AM. Seating is first come, first served. We LEAVE at 7:30 AM. Cost: $40.00 per person. Bus: Sun Diego Charter (same as for Petersen Museum). Storage above your seats like an airplane. There is a restroom on the bus, modern and comfortable seating. Food: We should arrive at the Carousel and Snack Bar around 9:30AM (brunch time ), and spend about an hour there. You can eat at the snack bar, buy food to take and eat on the bus or on the grounds of the Nethercutt, or bring your own lunch with you to eat after we get to the Nethercutt. A menu of the Snack Bar is attached. Waters and Snacks for each direction of the ride will be provided, just like the Petersen trip (you won’t be hungry). There $40.00 per person.
