PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY FAIR10:00 am - 2:00 pm; Virtual Fair in Handshake

The University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus welcomes you to attend the 2020 Part-time Opportunity Fair! The Part-time Opportunity Fair will be held virtually via Handshake and is available for all USF St. Petersburg and USF system students, alumni, and SPC students. Business casual attire is expected while in sessions. Need extra income or resume building experience? Want to get more involved? If you’re interested in getting involved in employment, research, and service, the Part-time Opportunity Fair is an annual event typically held at the St. Petersburg campus for USF St. Petersburg and USF system students and alumni. Fair attendees can engage with employers and recruiters for part-time job and internship experiences as well as part-time service or research opportunities within the campus community. What to expect at a virtual fair: Registered employers will submit 1:1 blocks of meeting times, in 10 minute increments, that students can sign up for prior to the fair. This is good to attend if you want to speak directly with a recruiter to ask more specific questions. Registered employers will be able to host three, 30 minute, group sessions that students can sign up for to learn more about open positions. This is good to attend if you have general interest in learning more about the business or opportunities access form anywhere! A virtual fair gives you the flexibility to research and select to speak with as many recruiters as your schedule allows. The best part? No masks required! All sessions will take place in Handshake so there is no need for multiple platforms. Please be sure to test your equipment in advance (microphone, video, etc.) to ensure you are ready for your selected sessions!
