Summit Small Groups

Our Mission at The Summit Church is to cooperate with God in developing multiplying communities of fully devoted followers of Christ. Summit Small Groups exist to facilitate easy access to community for the largest number of people, so that life-changing development of relationships and discipleship can result in equipping our body for life and mission.

How are small groups structured?

This FALL catalog is for small groups that will begin meeting the week of September 26 and will conclude the week of December 15, 2010.

You are welcome to participate in more than one small group. For example, you may choose to be in a women’s only or men’s only group AND a small group for couples with your spouse.

Throughout the year there will be three semesters: Fall (September through December) Spring (February through May) Summer (June through August).

Is childcare provided? Based on a group’s needs, leaders and parents will work together to determine the best arrangements. The Summit Church wants to provide every opportunity for you to attend a small group. If needed, group leaders may submit a Childcare Reimbursement Form.

How do I sign up for a small group? Take a moment and look through Small Groups Fall 2010 Catalog and choose the group(s) you would like to join. We want to encourage you to register online by going to http:/www.thesummitchurch.org/#/Ministries/small-groups. Be sure to select a “first”, “second” and “third” choice. We will make every effort to place you in your “Option 1” choice as space in that group allows.

Groups will be filled on a “first come-first serve” basis, so please take the time to register online today. The on-line registration will close at midnight on Sunday, September 19th. You will be contacted by your new group leader prior to the first meeting. You may also register by completing a Registration Card and dropping it in one of the offering baskets at the exits or a designated registration box.
