Announcing the

2014 Weddings of the Year

Every year, we name our favorite Wed-ding of the Year. In the past, they have ranged from simple weddings, to DIY, elaborate celebrations, with 20+ junior bridesmaids, 2nd time wed-dings and renewals. It gets harder for us each year, it truly does, to name just one WEDDING OF THE YEAR. The photographers are spectacular, the creativity in each wedding is simply overwhelming, and more than anything, the beauty of the event itself and the special meaning to each couple. The entries this year likely were some of the best. Throughout this year, we will be highlighting other weddings that didn't quite make it into the nals.

However, of the 4200 entires this year, we decided that each of the following weddings were special in their own way. So once again this year, we decided to name all four weddings as our favorite.

custom, couture quality flower girl dresses has just launched a virtual dressing room called The Pegeen Dress Dreamer a design tool which allows the user to see tens of thousands of ways Pegeen allows them to customize their childrens clothing using a simple mouse click and drop. Not only will moms and brides be able to plan the children's clothing from separate locations, but they can plan the intimate

details and color combina-tions that brides are choos-ing for their weddings.

Its so important for the customer to better visual-ize the outfit they will be having the child wear to a wedding, a music perfor-

mance, First Communion or special event. This new feature allows you to virtu-ally coordinate your flower girl and ring bear-ers attire, said Pegeen chief designer and found-er, Marg Hyland. With the click of a button, youll be able to sit down with your littlest bridal party members and show them on the screen where they can color their outfit and how they will look walk-ing down the aisle.

Until recently, Adobe flash was the industry standard for developing this type of project. Pegeen's develop-ment department chose to investigate jQuery as an alternative to "Flash Animation". jQuery was actually perfect for the job,

blending compatibility and functionality said their developer, Robert Fong. The Pegeen Dress Dreamer, also known as a virtual closet, is compati-ble with desktop and mobile devices. While the virtual closet is not a brand new idea, it hasn't been widely adopted in the industry due to the maturi-ty of the technology and its complexity. Pegeen understands the impor-tance of a virtual closet and the needs of their custom-

ers to not only be able to design with thousands of combinations that Pegeen uniquely offers, but com-plete the online shopping experience. The virtual closet makes it fun for our customers as well as solv-ing a complex problem:
