FAIRS AND FESTIVALS OF PLASENCIA 2014

During the month of June held a large number of activities which make our city an ideal place

to relax and have fun and that focus mainly on their fairs and festivals that are held from 11 to

15 June. That before the exhibition and as a tribute to our great party held some of them and

they are a breakthrough for the big party that will arrive in mid-June, a week before the start

of the summer.

Activities prior to the fairs in Plasencia:

This week, on May 31 it begins activities that precede the fairs of Plasencia with the 16th

Championship fairs "City of Plasencia" and 1st trophy Gobex Cup travels and hunting with

bow from May 31 to June 1 by our hills and mountains surrounding Plasencia.

-1 June on the banks of the Jerte River as it passes through Plasencia is organized a fishing

competition in order to obtain funds so that representatives of the fishermen "Virgen del

Puerto" society can participate in fishing Championship of Spain for under 23.

-During the weekend of 6-June 8 tourists who travel the roads

will be held in Plasencia the traditional cycle route and regions

that surround our town, in particular this year will tour the regions of the Jerte Valley and

the region of la Vera.

-Also this same weekend prior to the start of the fairs, in particular on June 8 is

celebrated the traditional international fishing contest Plasencia fairs to be held by the

company of fishermen of Plasencia in the Alcántara reservoir

Also on June 16 is the day of the child with discounted rates at Fairgrounds.

-From 9 to June 18 at the second plant of the Plaza de Abastos of Plasencia held one

edition of the "Palace of the game". A grand event that will make the children to have fun and learn in this great space

that will serve great playroom with all kinds of games from traditional to modern, sports and table, crafts, Quiz and

riddles and much more.

fairs

Plasencia:

And then we have the 20 and 21 June XXIX rally of the North of

Extremadura, Plasencia-from runs the North of Extremadura Extremadura, Madrid and Castilla La Mancha

Championships at stake.

And on 2 July arrives Mayorga Festival Rock.

A day that Plasencia will be the city of Extremadura Rock and also during the month of July there will be great

performances and in August will come higher Tuesday and the Festival Folk making our city an ideal place for

holidays since we have great places to bathe with our natural swimming pools, both city and its surroundings, inland

beaches, jumping water, pools and a wonderful and Heavenly environment that we have and if we add our range of

leisure, culture and sport makes no doubt attractive to spend the holidays here.
