INTRODUCTION

It was established in 1964. it is the principal organ of the United Nations general assembly. It deals with trade, investment and development issues.

It has 194 members

Its work can be summed up in three words: think, debate, and deliver.

To negotiate multinational trade agreements. To make proposals for putting its principles and

polices into effect.
