There is a £1.1 billion per annum surplus in the HE industry and employers have £10 billion in reserves

Staff do not want to have to take this action – they have been left no option through employers’ refusal to reasonably negotiate

Students pay high fees and deserve high-quality teaching in return

Students should expect good terms and conditions for those who teach them
