RESEARCH SUBJECT Containing the research results and comprehensive statistical data, this report consists of results of IDEF'15 12th International Defend Industry Fair organised by TUYAP Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım Inc. in TUYAP Fair and Congress Center, Büyükçekmece under the responsibility and management of Turkish Armed Forces Foundation with the support and patronage of Ministry of National Defence between 5 - 8 May 2015 with the permission and audit of Turkish Union Of Chambers And Commodity Exchanges. 1.1. 1.2. AIM OF RESEARCH The aim of this research is to provide the visitors and participants with the results of the visitor and participant survey results conducted during IDEF’15 12th International Defence Industry Fair and the data analysis results via the information form requested from the visitors in the entrance of the fair, and the news of the fair in press and on TV and to make use of these data to improve the expo in the years to come.

MANAGEMENT OF RESEARCH AND SAMPLE CONSTRUCTION The research was conducted by using face-to-face survey method on random visitors in an equally distributed way, by evaluating the information form gathered when the visitors entered the fair area and by the analysing the professional entrance card and the data on the invitations. 2. GENERAL FAIR INFORMATION 2.1. FAIR OPENING AND EVENTS IDEF’15 12th International Defence Industry Fair was opened by İsmet Yılmaz T.R. Ministry of National Defence and Orhan Akbaş Chief Executive Officer of TAFF with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

On and before the day of fair opening, receptions that the visitor companies, committees, foreign mission and other high-level military-civilian invitees attended were held by the Minister of National Defence of T.R. İsmet YILMAZ, Deputy Minister of National Defence Hasan Kemal YARDIMCI and Defence İndustry Undersecretary İsmail DEMİR. Ministry of National Defence have prepared special offices during the fair to enable the procurement authority of Turkish Armed Forces and Home-Office General Directorate of Security Affairs meet the participant companies, foreign committees, high-level military and civilian authorities and planned meeting were held between the companies, authorities - committees, committees, - committees and committees - companies.

IDEF’15 12th International Defence Industry Fair has carries out an important task by gathering the participants, visitors and the authorities responsible for defence procurement together and it played the host to cooperations of importance.
