My heart goes out to the people of Paris during this time of mourning. With that being the

people of America as well as the world need to realize how we got to where we are today. Back in 2001

America was attacked at the financial heart of our nation by an extremist group called Al-Qaeda. The

group Al-Qaeda was which fighting in the Balkin Wars against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan which was

openly funded and supported by NATO to help fight the Soviet Union (Source1). So after we funded this

extremist group they turned around and attack us and they are still to this day fighting for control in

Middle East. After 9/11 the US invaded Afghanistan and targeted Al-Qaeda who was responsible for the

9/11 attacks. Shortly after the Afghani campaign under the guise of fighting terrorism the US invade Iraq

to destroy Saddams Weapons of Mass Destruction which were never found (Source2). Let me remind

you that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 and the Saddam/Al-Qaeda connection claimed by the US

was flawed at best (Source3). It’s important to remember that the media and Washington constantly

claimed that Saddam had WMDs which effectively shaped the publics opinion on the situation in the

Middle East and as a result the vast majority of American’s were for Operation Iraqi Freedom which

should have been called Operation Destruct and Terrorize. This is precisely where the US foreign policy

went wrong and has caused all of the problems that the world faces today. The US toppled the Iraqi

government and propped up a new regime with limited resources and power which the people of Iraq

didn’t approve of. As a result the people of Iraq rose up and revolted and started a movement across the

Middle East which is now referred to as the Arab Spring (Source). When the new Iraqi government was

over thrown a power vacuum was create and ISIS ended up filling it by seizing large parts of Iraq

(Source). The US then used rebels to topple the Libyan government by killing Mummark Ghaddafi who

was at one time supported by NATO and the US (Source). After the rebels ousted Ghaddafi during the

Arab Spring and propped up yet another regime with limited resources and power which the people of

Libya did not approve of. No surprise the Arab Spring swept through Libya and once again created a

vacuum of power that ISIS filled and grew their Caliphate even larger (Source). When ISIS took over Iraq

and Libya they also gained a massive supply of military equipment which was left behind by the Iraqi

army and the Libyan army. This vast supply of weaponry included many tanks, aircraft and very

advanced missile technology which gave them a huge advantage in the battlefield (Source). While both

Iraq and Libya were run by dictators they served a valuable role which kept the Middle East under

control and was much more peaceful than it is today (Source). From the beginning of the Syrian Civil war

Obama and his administration has been saying that Assad must go. The administration told the

American people through the main stream media that Assad has used chemical weapons along with

barrel bombs on his people when in fact this is simply not true (Source). A report conducted by the UN

Page 2: Failed Foreign Policy

has proven that Assad did not in fact use chemical weapons on his citizens and that the chemical

weapons were actually used by the opposition rebel forces which is something that the lame stream

media has failed to report on (Source). One of these rebel groups is called the Free Syrian Army which

has been openly funded by the US government (Source). It is acknowledge by some government officials

that many of the weapons that the US has given the rebel forces as fell into the hands of ISIS

combatants and are being used to kill civilians and soon to be our own troops. Once again the US is

arming rebel groups in the Middle East that very well may come back and bite us in the ass. This whole

War in Syria is eerily similar to what took place in Iraq. The American people were once again lied to by

the government and the media and once again they have shaped the publics support into funding rebel

groups who are at war with ISIS and the Syrian regime. The conclusion that I draw from recent events is

that the media has the real WMD (the Weapon of Mass Deception). Currently the US is doing the same

thing in Syria as they did with Iraq and Libya by supplying the so called moderate rebels with funding

and weapons in an attempt to over throw Bashar Al Assad (Source). What needs to be understood is

that the real Agenda of the US government and NATO is to overthrow Bashar Al Assad. By providing

weapons we have destabilized a country and have allowed yet another jihadist wonderland to be

created which ISIS has grown exponentially in. If NATO and the US really wanted to solve the ISIS

problem we should be working with Russia and the Syrian government who are currently battling ISIS

however we are not because of the Assad agenda. Another important thing to realize is that President

Obama’s War in Syria was uninvited compared to Russia who was invited in by Bashar Al Assad himself.

Currently the US and Russia are not sharing Intel on ISIS which is a major mistake and is allowing this

problem to go on for longer and will result in more attacks like the ones in Paris. Instead of working with

Russia and Assad the Obama administration has come out and said that Russia has been killing our allies

the so called “moderate rebels” in their airstrikes. It’s pretty clear to me that ISIS is the real problem and

not the Syrian Government. A major rebel group that the US supports is the Free Syrian Army’s whose

main goal is to attack and over throw Bashar Al Assad’s government. ISIS and the FSA have a common

enemy and have admitted that they have in fact worked together in the past (Source). Currently Russia

is providing air support to Bashar Al Assad’s government and has been mostly targeting ISIS however the

FSA has suffered some casualties. In recent weeks Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has come out and

said that his administration has been communicating with the FSA and has been avoiding locations

where they are located (Source). The FSA and Russia have also been sharing Intel on ISIS and are

working together to destroy the ISIS threat. In the same statement released by Putin he says he doesn’t

understand why the US cannot cooperate with Russia as well. As the saying goes the enemy of my

Page 3: Failed Foreign Policy

enemy is my friend which means that we should be working with Russia to fight terrorism however we

are not. Back in World War 2 when Hitler rose to power the world came together and successfully

defeated the Nazi regime. During that time the US had an alliance with the Soviet Union and both

worked together to destroy the Nazi regime (Source). So why is the US is not doing the same thing they

did during WW2 and work together with Russia to fight the evolving threat of ISIS. The answer is that

the US is actually involved in a proxy war in Syria. This proxy war is being fought between the US and

Russia through rebel groups something that we have seen throughout history (Source). If the US and

Russia are not working together than they are working against each other plain and simple. The US and

NATO’s agenda in Syria has been the same from the start which is to over throw Bashar Al Assad. The

million dollar question of the year is why does the US and NATO have such an interest in overthrowing a

government that has done nothing to our country. If the recent attacks on Paris lead to a full-fledged

invasion of Syria by NATO I fear that WW3 may be upon us because Russia which is one of the Worlds

super powers is defending Assad from the US and NATO’s rebel groups and foreign policy. If the US

invades Syria they may defeat ISIS however you must remember that the overarching goal is to over

throw Bashar Al Assad. Let me also remind you of the other proxy war that is happening in Ukraine with

the US and NATO supporting the puppet government of Ukraine while Russia is funding the pro Russia-

rebels (Source). It is also important to remember that Russia and China have recently been forming an

alliance and are a force to be seriously reckoned with. In the past year we have seen a tremendous

military buildup in China with the new Islands that they have been creating in the South China Sea

(Source). While these Islands are in what’s considered international waters the US has been taunting

China by flying military planes and steaming warships within the 12 mile border that China has

established. In recent weeks we have seen the US testing Trident nuclear missiles over the California

night sky. In the past military drills have been conducted very discreetly in order to prevent the public

from freaking out like many did in California. The Trident missile was launched over one of the most

densely populated states in the US and also was launched at 6PM a time that many are out of work and

outside. If this missile test were to be conducted during the day it would not have been noticed and if it

were conducted at like 4 am it would have been seen by very few. This missile test sparked a massive

media frenzy on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and was in the frontlines of every

newspaper/magazine as well as every news cast across the country. Shortly after the missile testing

Russia responded by informing the US that they have missiles that will bypass your missile defense

system which has been deployed in the US as well as a lot of Europe (Source). The US is essentially

involved in a game of chicken with Russia and China and it seems that they are no longer turning away

Page 4: Failed Foreign Policy

from our threats any more. Our military is supposed to be fighting for world peace but it seems

apparent that we have been doing the complete opposite and have been fueling destabilization and

creating power vacuums that have been filled by Islamic Extremists. If NATO ends up planning an

invasion of Syria we the American people must stand up and say enough is enough and show our

government that we will not get involved in another World War that does not need to be fought. We

need to address this government’s failed foreign policy and strive for one that result in world peace and

not world war. You need to ask yourself is it worth sons and daughters, mothers and fathers dying for. If

World War 3 does happen the casualties will be nothing like the world has ever seen before. America

has lost its world super power status and has also lost the freedom and prosperity that made us the

greatest nation on the planet Earth. The correct way to defeat ISIS is to work alongside with Russia and

defeat ISIS in a coalition. What is even scarier than ISIS is the foreign policy that this country is choosing

to follow and may very well be the spark of WW3. I ask if you support this post to copy and paste it as

your status to help inform others about what is really going on in the Middle East. If this message and

information can get spread and go viral there is a very good chance that this whole situation can be

averted. The power of truth coupled with the power of the internet is the strongest weapon that we

have today and it has the ability to get this message and information to the masses. It’s our job as the

people of America to show that we no longer stand for this failed foreign policy and always remember

that the Anti-War movement during the Vietnam War played a major role in ending a pointless war.

Hopefully this message will resonate with many and protests will be planned in the event that NATO

announces an invasion of Syria without including Russia. If there is anything that I have said that you feel

isn’t true I ask that you read the sources I have provided as well as doing some research on your own.

Once again post this as your status and help spread the truth and do right by the millions of innocent

lives our failed foreign policies has taken over the years and know that we must not allow it to take

millions more.
