Once upon a time, there lived a man called Guy Montag. He was a

fireman, who did not put out fires, but burnt books, because

reading books are illegal.

One day, when Montag returned home from work, he met Clarisse, who made Montag wonder about

whether he was really HAPPY or not.

Couple days after, Montag and other firemen went to an old

lady’s house to burn her books, but the lady did not run away

and chose to die with the books.

After the death of the

innocent lady, Montag got

sick and wanted to know more about books.

Montag starts to collect and read books with Mildred, his

wife. However, Mildred does not want to read, but wants to

watch television, and is also worried about getting caught because of reading books.

Afterwards, Montag visits professor Faber, who too likes reading books and

wants to change the world

so reading books is not

illegal.

But then, Montag gets caught by the alarm Mildred sent in. Montag gets to

burn his own books with his hands, but instead of burning books, he kills

Captain Beatty, takes some books, and

runs away.

Montag crosses the river, then meets Granger and his

friends, who memorized books so it cannot be taken away from them. Montag decides to be part of their group.

However the city Montag left was BOMBED because of the war.

The survivors: Montag, Granger and their group headed for

the city to help the survivors and build their new world.
